Snowdrops and Sparkling: A World First at Walsingham Abbey

This February, I'm hosting an experience I've never seen done anywhere else in the world. Wine tastings in an 18th-century courtroom during snowdrop season.
We'll gather in the historic Shirehall Museum's courtroom, built in the 1770s, to taste the full range of Walsingham Estate wines paired with local Norfolk cheeses. Then you'll head out into the Abbey grounds with a glass of Sparkling Walsingham Bacchus, right when the snowdrops are at their peak.
The vines for these wines grow less than a mile away in the Stiffkey Valley. This exclusive access to the Abbey during snowdrop season is rare, and the timing matters. February in Norfolk brings that particular quality of winter light that makes everything look different.
We're running four dates only. Friday 6th and Saturday 7th, Friday 20th and Saturday 21st. Just 11 spots per event to keep it intimate.
Tickets are £35 and must be booked in advance. That includes the full wine tasting with Norfolk cheeses, your glass of sparkling, and admission to walk the Abbey grounds during peak snowdrop season. The event is vegetarian friendly. Assistance dogs are welcome in the Courtroom. Adults only.
Sometimes the best experiences come from putting beautiful things together in beautiful places and seeing what happens. I can't wait to share this one with you.
