We all need them from time to time. This might just be the time that we all could benefit from them.
Here are my favourite Mood Boosters:
The trick with these candles is that you lite them, and let them burn for 45/60 mins and then blow them out. The organic aromatherapy oils will still be lingering and scenting the room. I love these. They are eye wateringly expensive. However, LookFantastic.com has 10% off them at the moment. I always buy one or two when they're on offer.
Absolutely love burning this blend in the evening over a soya tea light candle burner. I also use it in my Diffuser as well. It's a cheaper way of scenting the room with beautiful organic oils than using the Neom candle. LookFantastic has 10% off them with the code 10BEAUTY
At night, watching, whatever is left to watch on Netflix, I have been religiously applying this. It is has a beautiful aroma, sinks in relatively quickly. And doesn't leave your feet clammy. Major bonus. It is also an excuse to rub a few pressure points on the soles of your feet.
Take a look at this Video on Youtube which has a guide to foot massage.
4. My favourite Tequila for a Margarita
I love a Margarita on holiday. So, it is a mood booster for me. I take my Margarita in hand and go into my photo album and peruse holiday photos where said drink has been imbibed, and that certainly boosts my mood!
Sophia's Chilli Margarita
Firstly, get a long Fresh Chilli and slice it in half. Pop the top-half to one side, and slice the bottom half.
Put into an empty Cocktail shaker:
150ml of Tequila
150ml of Triple Sec or Cointreau
100ml of Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice (it is worth investing in a lime squeezer)
50ml of Sugar Syrup or Agave Syrup (to taste)
the chopped half chilli (or a shake of chilli flakes)
Put this in the fridge for an hour or more. Or if you can't wait, pop it in the freezer for 10 mins.
Pour it over a tumbler filled with Ice. I prefer my tumbler to be textured to enhance the grip-ability of the cold cocktail.
Take the remaining piece of chilli and split it down the middle. This is so that you can rub the capsicum stem around the rims of each of the tumblers.
Enjoy
